3D TV Information
Some images of 3D TV camera's as used by company's such as SKY and ESPN etc.

To watch 3D TV in your home you will need 3D glasses and a 3D TV and some channels that broadcast in 3D (such as Sky+ HD)
Sky's 3D TV service is broadcast using a normal HD broadcast channel, over existing Sky infrastructure which means you can enjoy Sky 3D using your Sky+ HD box, provided you have a 3D ready TV and 3D glasses.
Virgin Media have also chosen a 3D encoding method that is compatible with its existing “2D” TV broadcast platform. This is the method which has been adopted by many other broadcasters around the world takes the two (left and right eye) 3D images with 1920 x 1080 resolution, squeezes each image down to 960 x 1080 and then joins them together to form a new “side by side” image with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 that is now compatible with its existing 2D platform.
