How To Fix Error Code 0x80073cfe In Microsoft Windows Store

The error 0x80073CFE will occur if the package repository is corrupted.

The following is some suggested fix’s.

Method 1: Reset the Store cache and check if it helps.

Please follow the steps given below.

a.       Press “Windows + R” key on the keyboard to open Run window.

b.      In the Run window type “wsreset.exe” and then click ok it will clear all the cache in Windows store.

If the above method does not work, go to next method.




Method 2: Run System File Checker tool and check if it helps.

Method 3: Scan and restore the operating system files health.

a.        Open an elevated command prompt. To do this, click Start, click All Programs, click Accessories, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or click Allow.

b.       Type the following commands. Press Enter after each command.

·         DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth
·         DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

c.        Close the command prompt, and then check if you can install, run the apps.
