Ofcom Says Another 43 Locations Can Apply For FM Community Radio Licences

Ofcom have today published a list of 43 locations (PDF, 197 KB) across the UK where they will invite applications for new FM community radio licences.

They have selected the areas based on responses to the earlier call, last November (PDF, 410 KB), for individuals or groups to express their interest in applying for a community radio licence. They have intend to invite applications for new community radio licences in these designated areas, towards the end of this year.
