Thomas Cook refund scammers targeting victims via phone
We have been made aware of a number of scams the past few days since Thomas Cook closed for good.
People are receiving calls stating that they can get there money back from Thomas Cook and they just need to provide their card number and codes in order for them to issue a refund. Be aware this is a scam ! they are just after your personal details so they can withdraw money from your account.
As Thomas Cook are no longer in operation no one from the company will call you, nor will the administrators or any company associated with the ongoing case.
The scammers are making random calls in the hope that you are one of the 800000 people who have purchased a Thomas Cook holiday or flight.
