Hackers leak over 900,000 emails from Russian state broadcaster

Network Battalion 65 (NB65), a group affiliated with Anonymous, has leaked nearly a million emails from the All-Russia State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company (VGTRK).

The company is a Russian state-owned broadcaster which operates five national TV stations, two international networks, five radio stations, and over 80 regional TV and radio networks. VGTRK also runs the information agency Rossiya Segodnya / Росси́я сего́дня, which operates Sputnik, RIA Novosti and other entities.

It has been reported that in addition to the 900,000 emails, spanning 20 years, there are over 4000 files taken from their cloud service, mostly consisting of media assets and clips.

The total amount of data taken was around 870GB.
