Apple Safari 11.0.3 Security Update

Multiple vulnerabilities in Apple Safari versions prior to version 11.0.3 could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on a targeted system.

The Apple Safari 11.0.3 update addresses multiple vulnerabilities in the Safari Webkit component. The vulnerabilities are due to improper memory handling by the affected software. An attacker could exploit these vulnerabilities by convincing a user to follow a link to a web page that contains malicious content. If successful, the attacker could execute arbitrary code on the targeted system.

Administrators are advised to apply the appropriate updates.

Administrators are advised to allow only trusted users to have network access.

Users should verify that unsolicited links are safe to follow.

Administrators are advised to monitor affected systems.
