Microsoft DOC File Triggers File Policy Rule As msole2 File [RESOLVED]
For example on your Cisco FirePower you might have a policy rule to block the downloading of file types “executable”. And you attempted to download a Microsoft Word DOC file and it was blocked due to file type of MSOLE2.
Resolution
You will need to update the Vulnerability Database(VDB). This bug is marked as resolved in VDB 290 (Released 28-SEP-2017) so please update your VDB on the FMC above 290.
