A vulnerability in systemd could allow a local attacker to elevate their privileges on a targeted system.The vulnerability occurs when the DynamicUser property is used to execute a Set-user Identification (SUID) binary on a targeted system. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by leveraging a flaw in the binary execution process. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to elevate their privileges on the targeted system. systemd has confirmed the vulnerability and released software updates.
