Cisco IOS XE Software Web UI Cross-Site Request Forgery Vulnerability [CVE-2024-20437]
CVE number = CVE-2024-20437
A vulnerability in the web-based management interface of Cisco IOS XE Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to perform a cross-site request forgery (CSRF) attack and execute commands on the CLI of an affected device.
This vulnerability is due to insufficient CSRF protections for the web-based management interface of an affected device. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by persuading an already authenticated user to follow a crafted link.

This vulnerability affects Cisco products if they are running a vulnerable release of Cisco IOS XE Software and have the HTTP Server feature enabled and the service internal configuration command enabled.
Cisco has released software updates that address this vulnerability.
There are no workarounds that address this vulnerability.
