Fake Amazon Invoices Via Email

Because its close to Christmas and more people order online we see an increase in fake Amazon (and others) emails. I have had a few myself that got past the spam folder and ended up in the Inbox, and they do look quite genuine.

But, they are fake, not in the normal Amazon layout and when you hover over the link it’s not Amazon official site.

In my example the link is a bit.ly link which is a genuine redirect service.

The aim is usually to get your Amazon login details, or card details.
