Intel Integrated Performance Primitives Cryptographic Libraries Information Disclosure Vulnerability [CVE-2018-12155]

A vulnerability in Intel Integrated Performance Primitives (IPP) could allow a local attacker to access sensitive information on a targeted system.

The vulnerability is due to data leakage that may occur in certain cryptographic libraries used by the affected software. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to access sensitive information on a targeted system. A successful exploit could be used to conduct further attacks. 

Intel has confirmed the vulnerability and released software updates.
