USA Launched Cyber-attack On Iran

Three US officials tell The Associated Press the USA launched a cyber-attack on Iranian weapons systems on Thursday as President Trump pulled out of air strikes on the country.

There is no independent confirmation of damage to Iranian systems.

CrowdStrike and FireEye, which regularly track such activity, say in recent weeks hackers believed to be working for the Iranian government have targeted U.S. government agencies, as well as sectors of the economy, including oil and gas. The firms say the hackers have sent waves of spear-phishing emails.
