Error 8007003 on Microsoft Teams sign in [RESOLVED]

The following procedure is how to fix the error code “8007003” when signing in to Microsoft Teams. Note that this error usually occurs when you are using Microsoft Teams in a RDP (remote desktop) session.

  • Close Microsoft Teams
  • Delete  desktopconfig.json from users\USERNAME\Appdata\Roaming\Microsoft\Teams
  • Re test Microsoft Teams
  • The issue should now be resolved
