Product Recall – Waizhiua-MS247 Hot Glue Gun

The product presents a serious risk of electric shock due to the plug pins being too close to the periphery of the plug.

Users can access live parts when plugging in, or unplugging, the plug from the socket.

Additionally, the earth pin is sheathed, so it does not contact the earth in the socket properly.

The plug is a ‘clover-style’ plug, which provides insufficient protection against the risk of fire as it is inadequately earthed.

The product does not meet the requirements of the Plugs & Sockets (Safety) Regulations 1994 or the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
