X hit by cyber-attack as thousands of users report outages
Elon Musk’s social platform X is currently suffering from a cyber attack which started a few hours ago. This appears to be a DDoS attack.
Elon took to X to say “There was (still is) a massive cyberattack against. We get attacked every day, but this was done with a lot of resources. Either a large, coordinated group and/or a country is involved.£
Many users trying to access X and refresh feeds on its app and desktop site during Monday’s outages were met with a loading icon, at the time of publication of this post the network is still suffering problems.
The website DownDetector also shows outages on X today for the past few hours.
