The Raspberry Pi Smart Display Module allows audio-visual and digital signage professionals to embed the performance, flexibility, and energy efficiency of Compute Module 5 directly into compatible displays. By eliminating the need for an external media player, additional cabling, or a separate power supply, it delivers a fully integrated solution. The module also includes HDMI output for a second, independent video stream, as well as an M.2 expansion slot to enable optional AI acceleration.
Built to the Intel® SDM specification, the Raspberry Pi Smart Display Module fits seamlessly into SDM-compatible displays and draws power directly from the screen. With the computing hardware housed inside the display, installations remain tidy, dependable, and easy to service — making the module well suited to applications such as flight information displays, retail and corporate signage, and industrial visualization.
Designed for simplicity, the Raspberry Pi Smart Display Module can be installed by customers without specialist tools, making deployment quick and straightforward.
