The product presents a serious risk of fire because the plug pins do not meet the dimensional requirements of BS 1363. As a result, the plug may not fit securely into a socket, causing damage over time and leading to overheating and a fire.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 or the Plugs and Sockets etc. (Safety) Regulations 1994.
