X (Twitter) is down for thousands of users
The social network X, previously known as Twitter is down for thousands of users around the world.
At the time of publication (15:30pm on 18th March 2026) almost 5000 users have reported this as down via the website DownDetector.

UPDATE : We have checked again at 15:45pm and there is now over 6000 people who have reported this as an issue via DownDetector.
