Thousands of users report issues with Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp (12-06-2026)
Thousands of users are reporting issues with Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp. The outage started at around 6.45am Pacific time, which is 2.45pm in the UK, we have seen reports of outages from around the world.
Meta Platforms owns all three services: Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.
The hashtag #facebookdown is currently trending on X with a few thousands posts.
At the time of publication Meta has not yet issued an update as users continue to experience issues.
