4G

4G stands for Fourth Generation, is a standard for wireless communication that represents a significant improvement over its predecessor, 3G. Launched in the late 2000s, 4G provides much faster data speeds, lower latency, and greater capacity, enabling more advanced and data-intensive applications for mobile users.

One of the primary advancements of 4G over 3G is the dramatically higher data speeds. 4G networks offer peak download speeds of up to 100 Mbps (megabits per second) for mobile users and can reach up to 1 Gbps (gigabit per second) for stationary users under ideal conditions. This is a significant leap compared to 3G speeds, which typically max out around 2 Mbps.
